After many years successfully leading Little John’s Preschool, our Nursery Manager has taken the decision to pursue her studies further and enter full time education in 2021. As such, we are currently taking applications for the role of Preschool Manager for our charity preschool serving the community in the heart of Clarendon Park Leicester.
This exciting opportunity is open to an experienced Preschool/Nursery Manager who has a stable work history with a proven track record in Early Years Management.
About Little Johns Preschool
The Preschool boasts of links with the local community – Intergenerational Play sessions, FareShare Food Redistribution, established NHS Healthy Cooking and Oral Health programs.
The preschool is situated within rented room of an old church, opposite a thriving Primary School. We offer care for children aged 2-4 years old in a home-from-home environment enriched by the extensive quality learning resources and equipment.
About the Role of Nursery Manager
The successful Manager will be fully supported in creating a high-quality bespoke provision and an outstanding learning environment. They will demonstrate exemplary leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team of Early Years Educators. They will have a clear picture of what high quality practice looks like and understand how to promote and maintain it. The manager will be a positive inspirational leader who understands all aspects of preschool management. They will possess a strong and clear understanding of the EYFS, health and safety, and safeguarding.
The Preschool manager will create and promote caring, calm and friendly work environment where everyone is respected equally for their contributions to the setting. They will receive the full support of the Committee and the retiring Manager who will ensure they have all the support and resources to effectively manage the smooth day to day operation of the setting.
